Bicycle Beano Cycling Holidays was set up in 1982 (after working for Friends of the Earth) as a 'soft environmental campaign' to actively promote cycling and vegetarianism, and to encourage an awareness of environmental issues. We believed then, and we believe now, that green actions speak louder than green words. We were a green business long before it became fashionable.

Environmentally-friendly cycling holidays on peaceful lanes in England and Wales, with delicious vegetarian food. Our breaks are designed for people who who want to enjoy their rides, appreciate the scenery and learn connect with the landscape they are cycling through. We use venues with good ethical and environmental credentials and support local businesses. We don't drive round after you in a van - our mechanic rides a bike too!
