Qantas A380 no crash in Singapore

By Eco Guy 5:38am 4th November 2010
For those wondering about the Qantas A380 flight from Singapore, it did not crash.

This is quite a ground breaking meeting, given it appears from the records that there is a reasonable balance in the pro-AGW and anti-AGW sides, see main page here.

From our perspective, this is good news. Also from an initial quick reading of the testimony's so far it looks like the anti-AGW testimony's are far more 'internally consistent' - i.e. based on observations and derived conclusions rather than abstract modeling and statistical exaggeration. Hopefully people will pick up on this different degree of factual grounding.

Lindzen's Testimony is particularly cutting and to the point. It digs right into the core issues around how the science has been 'over sold' and become more of a religious undertaking and 'faith' based exercise in manufacturing alarm for the masses to suitably react to.

As for this causing any change in policy making?  Not sure, too early to tell; but it is a step in the right direction and actually indicates through its existence that the science in reality is far from settled.

Appears the webcast is not functioning. Although we do have comments from Judith Curry.
